Altoona Drinks For You is an on-going series of photographs, art and writings that I have been working on that focuses on visuals and the history of my hometown’s bars while thinking about what they might have meant for the people who attended them.
Here is the long-awaited Altoona Drinks For You Photo Essay III. This chapter features some more bars and social clubs, all of which are still currently operating. I’ve grown to enjoy capturing memorable features like the architecture, proximity to Sheetz historic landmarks or general attitude of the business. That said there are still establishments that I have yet to photograph that are important to include (4D'S Lounge) with stories to tell.

The photos were taken on May 26, 2024 with a Kodak M35 35mm Film Point and Shoot camera with Kodak Gold 200 35mm Color Film. Film was developed and scanned at Eastern Standard Photo in Wilkinsburg, PA.




Truthfully my favorite song off of Brat, which I have been listening to on repeat all summer. I even brought back the green phone case.
